The padel scene in the DACH region continues to grow, and we would like to introduce our newest facilities. We are passionate about building more facilities so that everyone can enjoy this versatile sport across the region. Everyone can only benefit from this complementary sport, allowing more members to be gained.

Double celebration in Melk
The development of membership numbers improved in the year the padel court was built from 235 members (2020) to 369 members (2021). Very good and optimal prospects for our club.

Padel tennis – Trend sport conquers Wels
A new trend sport is taking the world by storm. Padel tennis. A mix of tennis and squash. Star coach Jürgen Klopp raves about it – in Spain it’s already the second most popular sport after football. And now the new trend can also be tried out in Wels.

PSV Salzburg
A new trend sport has now arrived at our facility in Salzburg. Padel is a mix of tennis and squash, played as doubles, and is currently experiencing a real boom in Austria and the rest of the world. Already over 15 million people play padel.
It’s enormously fun, easy and quick to learn. You can start anytime and without prior knowledge.

Padel Lions Bruck
Padel is not just any fun sport.
The growth is enormous. Over 2500 players have already participated in a tournament last year and the trend is strongly increasing. But we are only at the beginning, especially outside of Vienna. Graz is the second largest hotspot, but it will take some time for the sport to gain a foothold in rural areas. Trend, however: strongly increasing. “Padel is booming!”

New trend sport gains foothold in Grenzach-Wyhlen
Thought, said, planned – and soon to be done. According to Kaltenbach, TC 1923 has already arranged everything to make the project a reality. A small part of the club’s own parking lot in the “Grienboden” will be sacrificed for the padel court. Padel is a real fun and trend sport, super easy to learn, fast and entertaining. “Similar to beach tennis, two against two, very easy and mega fun,” the TC 1913 chairman is already looking forward to the new court.

Expansion of the tennis facility at TSV Schott e.V.
The wave of enthusiasm is currently spilling over to other
countries, such as Germany. We hope to be right at the
beginning of this development, which will increase our
attractiveness (including that of the entire club).
The padel court will belong to the tennis department and will also
be incorporated into our court booking system.

TC Altenberge-Erika invests in the future
TC Altenberge-Erika is proud of its padel tennis facility. It is the first and only one in Emsland, “This sport is demanding, but a lot of fun,” is the result of a self-experiment.
The club manager is not only concerned with establishing this new sport in the region. He also wants to set an example in these difficult times that sports clubs continue despite Corona and that those responsible keep members engaged through offerings like these or even attract new ones.

It’s not just about satisfying the high demand for padel in the region, we also want to live and revive the club spirit. At tournaments, events or simply a casual round of padel, we want to promote personal exchange and celebrate this on various occasions. Vamoosss!
